16-year-old Nottingham Forest gem spotted bamboozling RB Leipzig defenders during friendly
In Danny Anisjko, Nottingham Forest might have a young talent that one day dazzles the City Ground. Last week, he was spotted bamboozling RB Leipzig defenders as the under-18s played their counterparts from Germany in a friendly.

Anisjko is a burgeoning talent currently in place on Trentside. Last season he burst onto the scene at the City Ground, producing the goods over and over for the under-18 outfit.

The player typically operates on the flanks. He’s extremely skilful, has the pace to glide beyond defenders and he uses the ball beautifully with both feet. Anisjko has it all and Forest might have a special player on their hands.

Last season, his standout performance arguably came against Manchester United. In a repeat of the FA Youth Cup Final from the year previous, Forest won 4-0, with Anisjko a menace throughout.

The player has now been spotted producing the goods during a pre-season game against RB Leipzig. Forest were beaten 3-2 but in the build-up to both goals, Anisjko can be spotted tormenting the opposition.

His superb trickery for the first goal was a joy to behold. He turned the full-back inside out before firing over a wonderful cross for new scholar Armarn Robinson to score an easy goal.

In Anisjko, Forest have a future star on their hands. In four days, the talented forward will turn 17 and surely a professional contract will be in the offing.

Clubs up and down the country will undoubtedly be watching Forest starlet Anisjko. The Reds will hope to do whatever it takes to keep him and he could very quickly be progressing through the ranks.

Forest have a proud history with young talent. In Steve Cooper, they also have a manager who isn’t afraid to give the top-performing academy players a chance in his team.

Anisjko might just be the next diamond to emerge along the conveyor belt of talent and it will be fascinating to see how he develops in the coming years.
