Nottingham Forest will prevent the players from leaving in January. Reds will hear from clubs that are interested.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa’s loan spell at Olympiacos has not been going well, as reported earlier this week. There were suggestions that a return to Brazil might be a better fit for him, as he was apparently struggling to adapt to European football.

Journalist Jorge Nicola is now shedding light on Scarpa’s situation and the possibility of him returning to South America. It’s reported that Brazilian clubs are expected to approach Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos for a January transfer.

However, it seems that a move of this nature is unlikely. Nicola has stated that people close to Scarpa have informed him that the player is set to remain in Greece at least until the end of the season.

Nottingham Forest is making efforts to help Scarpa adapt to English football, and they are not inclined to send him on loan to Brazil at this early stage. Scarpa’s contract with Nottingham Forest is in place until 2026, so it appears that this situation could be the beginning of an ongoing story.
