Luton Town: A very difficult test is coming up. The rather brief journey that  Hatters took to Birmingham.

In their tenth Premier League match of the season, the Hatters travel to Birmingham on Sunday, a relatively short trip, to play Aston Villa. The visiting Luton Town supporters will be aiming for a win to help their team add to their current point total of five, following the thrilling late comeback against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

However, based on Aston Villa’s home record at Villa Park in the Premier League, it appears that this could be the most difficult away test of the season thus far.

Thus far, Aston Villa has participated in four Premier League home games; the outcomes are as follows:

• Sunday 20th August – Aston Villa 4 Everton 0
• Saturday 16th September – Aston Villa 3 Crystal Palace 1
• Saturday 30th September – Aston Villa 6 Brighton & Hove Albion 1
• Saturday 22nd October – Aston Villa 4 West Ham United 1

Based on mathematical calculations, Aston Villa has scored 17 goals in those four games, or more than four goals each contest.

Aston Villa has only allowed three goals in terms of goals conceded, or fewer than one per game.

It should be noted that Aston Villa has a perfect record when playing on their home field.

As I mentioned earlier, it appears to be the most difficult away test of the season thus far.

Is it not simply a game we could win, though?
