In his sixth game as interim manager of Gillingham, Keith Millen’s victory on Tuesday was his greatest to date.
The Gills scored the game’s lone goal, failed to take advantage of a one-on-one opportunity, and also missed a penalty, despite the home team Swindon having more possession and shots.
Swindon defeated Gillingham 1-0.
The Gills didn’t take advantage of their chances to score in front of goal, as they have so many times this season, but the interim manager was quite happy with how his squad handled a good ball-playing opposition.
