AC Milan star has been ‘missing for the last 14 days’ as alarm sparked in Sweden.

AC Milan are concerned for their striker Emil Roback, who has been missing for 14 days in Sweden.

After learning of Emil Roback’s disappearance from his loan team, AC Milan expressed concern for his well-being. The Serie A heavyweights and Roback’s temporary club, IFK Norrkoping, have been anxiously trying to get in touch with the teenage striker for more than two weeks, but to no avail.

The 20-year-old joined the Swedish outfit on loan back in March but he has struggled to make an impression with the Allesvenskan club, featuring only three times in his seven-month spell at the club.

And there are now concerns for his safety as he has reportedly gone AWOL, missing training in the process. According to Aftonbladet, Norrkoping have been left in the dark regarding his whereabouts after Roback was absent for the last two training sessions.

Because the athlete hasn’t been heard from for the past two weeks, the club’s sporting director, Tony Martinsson, has expressed concern about his condition in Sweden and is eager to have some indications that he is doing well.
He was quoted as saying, “I want to know that he is OK,” in the Swedish publication. “I don’t know what else we can do, but it’s frightening that we can’t get a hold of him. Although I’ve sat down with him numerous times, getting through to him is challenging.

“I’d want for him to come over. Then we can come up with a strategy that benefits everyone. Although we haven’t seen him in 14 days, I haven’t given up hope that he will come back.

Roback joined Milan from Hammarby in 2020 in a deal worth £1.3million and was loaned to Nordsjaelland last season, but failed to make a first-team appearance.
