‘No Real Idea’ – Bradford City Caretaker Boss Kevin McDonald Unsure About Managerial Situation Now

Kevin McDonald, the interim manager of Bradford City, has said he has “no real idea” if he would still be in command by the weekend.
After firing Mark Hughes last week, Bradford City is looking for a new manager. The League Two team is considering their options right now.

McDonald, 34, was given temporary custody. With him in charge, his team has triumphed in both of its encounters with Swindon Town in league play and Grimsby Town in the Papa John’s Trophy.

Bradford must make a crucial choice regarding their new manager. They are striving for promotion to League One after last season’s play-off appearance.

There is not much of a rush to schedule an appointment because the players are performing well under McDonald. He clearly has the support of the group and is now getting the greatest performance out of them.

He was recruited as a player over the summer to add to the team’s experience.

The Scotsman spent time with Exeter City in the third tier last term but became a free agent at the end of June when his contract expired.

Bradford’s next match is against AFC Wimbledon away this Saturday and McDonald will take the match unless someone comes in beforehand. He seems relaxed about the situation and will be focused on a third straight win in a row under his guidance.

The Bantams are 14th in the table and are four points off the top seven.
