Southampton midfielder Charly Alcaraz has signed a new five-year contract.
Alcaraz scored four Premier League goals last season after joining from Argentine side Racing Club in January.
The 20-year-old, who has made nine appearances this season, was recently called up to the Argentina senior squad for the first time.
“Charly has displayed so much potential since his arrival and has already made a huge impact despite his young age,” said director of football Jason Wilcox.
“He has the ability to score goals from midfield and we look forward to seeing him showcase his talent here at St Mary’s and beyond.”
