‘He’s cooking’: Jude Bellingham seriously impressed by Creative midfielder Rangers wanted to sign

Jobe Bellingham is one of the best young players around, so I was not surprised when I read that Rangers were among the clubs interested in signing the brother of Jude Bellingham before he joined Sunderland in the summer transfer window.

Sunderland signed Jobe Bellingham from Birmingham City in the summer of 2023.

Bellingham, who can operate as a forward or a midfielder, was linked with a move to Rangers before he switched to Sunderland for £3 million.

Sunderland sign Jude Bellingham's brother hours after Real Madrid announcement - Daily Star

In December 2022, TEAMtalk reported that Rangers were among the clubs keen on signing the teenager in the summer of 2023.

However, a move did not happen.

And, now, Rangers can only look from afar at the progress that Bellingham is making.

Bellingham has made 10 appearances in the Championship for Sunderland so far this season.

The Sunderland no. 7 has scored two goals and given one assist in those games.

Sunderland beat Watford 2-0 at the Stadium of Light in the Championship on Wednesday evening.

Bellingham provided the assist for the second goal.

And, as you can see, Real Madrid and England international midfielder Jude Bellingham was impressed.

Bellingham is the elder brother of Jobe Bellingham.

The 20-year-old England international joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.

My View: Rangers have missed the chance to sign Jobe Bellingham

I do not think that Rangers will be able to sign Jobe Bellingham anytime soon.

The chance to sign the teenager was in the summer of 2023.

I believe that Rangers have missed out on that chance.

Bellingham is flourishing at Sunderland at the moment.

The Black Cats are aiming to win promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.

It is very likely that if Bellingham continues to play well in the coming weeks and months, then he will attract the interest of top clubs in the Premier League if he does not get there with the Black Cats.
