Kieran Trippier has liked Fabrizio Romano’s Instagram post which claims that Newcastle United have agreed on a new deal with Bruno Guimaraes.
The Newcastle United midfielder moved to the club during the January transfer window of 2022 – the same as Kieran Trippier – and instantly became a fan favourite.
Not only did Bruno Guimaraes help Eddie Howe’s side survive relegation to the Championship, but he proceeded to be one of the star men who got the club back to the Champions League the following campaign.
All of this has, understandably, resulted in the Brazil star’s stock rising and teams from the outside expressing interest in his box-to-box talents, including from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
But in order to shut off that noise, the Magpies are extending the stay of their all-action midfielder.
