Callum Hudson-Odoi of Nottingham Forest was praised by Don Goodman after his strike gave the Reds a point against Burnley. The young man made his debut, and boy did he do it in style.
Last night, the pundit served as a co-commentator for Sky Sports. Goodman was complimentary of Forest and expressed admiration for Hudson-Odoi’s goal.
For the Reds, this was by no means a good performance. It was dogged in patches and belied a team that hadn’t really welcomed the 16-day break between their last game.
Still, the new signings are going to need some time to settle into their new surroundings. There were some positives from last night but Forest didn’t really deserve to win this game.

It’s pleasant to hear Goodman laud him, and he is entirely accurate. The achievement of this goal was exactly as Hudson-Odoi had envisioned it in his dreams, and he is now itching for more.
It’s difficult to fathom how Forest was able to get him this summer for such a low price at only 22 years old. Yes, the player has a little bit lost his path, but Chelsea may have stumbled a little bit here.
Hudson-Odoi just has one game left at Forest. But his achievement will live long in the memory, and maybe the gifted youngster has more to offer.
