Just in: Barnsley Officially Confirmed The Exist Of Another Outstanding Star As Statement Been Made

Kyle McFadzean, a defender for Coventry City, claimed that Liam Kitching, a new teammate, has so far looked “really good.”

The left-sided center-back was acquired by Coventry City on the final day of the transfer window from League One’s Barnsley.

Kitching, 23, assisted the Tykes in making the third-tier play-off final last year, and he has since secured a move to the Championship.

McFadzean expressed his admiration for the new member on the club website, saying, “He looks extremely fantastic. He’s another northern lad, which is fantastic, and he’s got a really nice left foot. He also has a good character.

“You always think, ‘Oh, okay, he’s not a bad guy,’ when you play against players. That’s how I’ve always felt about him.

I’ve liked him for a while, so it goes without saying that when I heard Coventry was interested, I wasn’t surprised to be honest. He marks you just as you give it.

Kitching is expected to make his debut this evening when Coventry travels to Hull City on the road. The match will take place at the MKM Stadium. After the international break, the Sky Blues travel to East Yorkshire after their most recent match ended in a 3-3 draw against Watford at home.

Kitching has been acquired to bolster their defensive department and he will be eager to nail down a regular place in the starting XI at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

He joined his previous club Barnsley back in January 2021 and went on to make 89 appearances for the Tykes in all competitions, chipping in with five goals.

The Harrogate-born man started his career at Leeds United but never made a senior appearance for the Whites. Instead, he gained experience out on loan at local side Harrogate Town before spending a year-and-a-half at Forest Green Rovers on a permanent basis before his switch to Oakwell.
