Nottingham Forest are closing in on the signing of PSV Eindhoven star Ibrahim Sangare.
It was earlier reported that Forest saw a €34million (£29m) plus bonuses bid turned down by the Dutch side. PSV have been determined to only let him leave if his €37m release clause was met.
Fast forward a few hours and it appears that the Reds have met the demands of the Eredivisie outfit with PSV set to receive more than €35m for the midfielder, claims journalist Rik Elfrink. Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano adds that the fee plus add-ons is around €36/€37m.
However, the payment structure is still being discussed by the clubs. As a result, Sangare is set to miss PSV’s training session this afternoon and travel to the UK.

Meanwhile, Forest forward Brennan Johnson is expected to travel to London for a medical ahead of a potential move to Tottenham.
The Reds have been determined to land Sangare after he was identified as their top midfield target this summer. Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi is also said to be on the radar, but it remains to be seen whether Forest will still want to sign the latte
The club’s latest addition have been Nuno Tavares and Murillo. Other players through the door include Anthony Elanga, Matt Turner, Ola Aina, Andrey Santos and Gonzalo Montiel.
Elsewhere, Odysseas Vlachodimos is also close to making the switch from Benfica to the City Ground.
