Newcastle United Under-21 midfielder Joe White will spend the remainder of the 2023/24 season on loan at Crewe Alexandra in League Two.

The 20-year-old is embarking on the third loan spell of his career, having spent much of the second half of the 2021/22 campaign at Hartlepool United and a portion of the 2022/23 season down at Exeter City.

Joe White is set to join ex-Magpie Gary Caldwell's Exeter City in League Two| All Football

All-in-all White has made 39 senior appearances and scored one goal. He will be managed by Lee Bell at the Mornflake Stadium and will be looking to add to that tally to help Alexandra avoid relegation.

Crewe are currently the bookies’ favourites to drop down into the National League at 4/1, so the left-footer has his work cut out for him!

All of us here at NUFC.news wish Joe the very best for the season ahead, here’s hoping he’s able to do the business for the Railwaymen.
