Huddersfield Town handed huge boost as talented striker signs contract extension
Huddersfield Town striker Kian Harratt has penned a contract extension, tying him down until 2026
Kian Harratt has today extended his Huddersfield Town stay. The striker has penned a contract extension, tying him to the Championship club until 2026.
Manager Neil Warnock said in a club statement: ““I’m absolutely delighted for Kian. Since I’ve been back at the Club, he’s shown an attitude to his work that I’ve not seen in a player in my managerial career to date.
“He’s been like a breath of fresh air, and he deserves everything that he gets. This is only the first wrung of the ladder to climb, but I’m sure he’ll have a successful career.”
Terriers sporting director Mark Cartwright added: “We’re really pleased to have Kian extend his contract with the Club, he’s worked incredibly hard to earn this and it’s a deserved reward.

“Similarly to Kyle Hudlin, his next challenge is to break into the First Team on a more consistent basis as he’s shown the hunger and ability in
Harratt has forced his way into the senior set up since Neil Warnock returned to the John Smith’s Stadium. He has featured three times from off the bench in the Championship this season.
Warnock handed Harratt a start in their Carabao Cup tie at home to Middlesbrough. The 21-year-old, a graduate of Town’s youth system, scored the opening goal as Town bowed out of the competition at the first hurdle.
Harratt has previously enjoyed loan spells at Harrogate Town, Guiseley, Port Vale and Bradford City. His new contract follows swiftly on from fellow forward Kyle Hudlin agreeing fresh terms.
