Major Setback For Wisconsin Badgers As Top Experienced Offensive Veteran Star Set To Miss The Rest Of The Games Due Serious Injury Update

After a terrible offensive performance against Michigan State, is there reason for concern?

The Wisconsin Badgers dropped to fourth place in the Big Ten with a 12-6 conference record after losing to the Michigan State Spartans in a tight game at the Breslin Center on Sunday, 71-62.

For the most part, the game went back and forth, but Michigan State regained the lead in the second half and dominated the remainder of the game, winning by nine points to claim their fifth consecutive championship victory.

The Badgers struggled offensively and shot a dismal 5/32 from outside the arc in the game, which wasn’t a good combination against a tough Michigan State squad.

Does the offensive display versus Michigan raise any concerns?

Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez expected to announce retirement

“We go 5 for 32 from 3. I thought we had some really good looks, some open looks from the right guys. You know, some of that’s Michigan State’s defense. They have defended well for the vast majority of the year. So. But even with 5/32, I thought we were in position and then the turnovers and a couple untimely offensive rebounds on their end. But like I said, [Michigan State has] got a really good team and you know, it’s a good college basketball game. I wish we could have played better the last six, seven minutes.”
