Ground Breaking Announcement For Blackburn Rovers In Transfer Race For Chelsea Young Star Agreement

According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Blackburn Rovers are deciding how to proceed with their pursuit of Augustus Kargbo after Cesena turned down a proposal last week.
After making several early movements during the winter transfer window, Blackburn Rovers have had a quiet month.

Following Stoke City’s return of Lewis Baker, Adam Forshaw joined on a permanent basis, committing to a contract through the conclusion of the current campaign. Dion Sanderson has joined from Birmingham City on loan.

Despite the intention to strengthen the offensive ranks, there hasn’t been much movement beyond those two.

Over the past week or two, there have been renewed and intensified rumors linking Blackburn Rovers to summer target Augustus Kargbo; however, the Lancashire Telegraph now claims the Championship team is weighing their alternatives.

Rovers have yet to pay the £1 million that Serie B team Cesena is requesting for Kargbo after their initial offer was turned down last week. They are currently debating whether to search elsewhere for the offensive addition they desire or to go on and attempt to sign the Sierra Leone international.

Kargbo provides significant versatility in the forward positions and is primarily used as a striker, but he can be used in any of the front three positions.

furthermore, providing a fresh center-back alternative.

A striker is required.

Yuki Ohashi and Makhtar Gueye were the two new attackers that Blackburn Rovers acquired in the summer. They are next to

John Eustace’s squad’s main option is Harry Leonard.

But Ohashi is out right now, and because none of the three strikers are playing very well, it’s seen to be an

area that has to be strengthened if Ewood Park is to continue to challenge for the playoffs.

Kargbo appears to be seen as a possible alternative, although Rovers need to carefully weigh their options after an offer was rejected. The forward is not proved at a very high level, so even though his profile is fascinating, there could be better possibilities available. Nevertheless, it might turn out to be a wise move.

Competing with the clock
Blackburn Rovers must make whatever choice they decide to make.

Less than a week remains until the window closes on Monday, and if past performance is any indication, they shouldn’t be letting any business wait until the last minute.

They must thus decide whether to continue bidding for Kargbo or to shift their attention to another area. Other goals will be considered, but in order to prevent a recurrence of past deadline-day catastrophes, action must be taken as soon as possible.

rather rapidly.
