Just days before their 2024 season opener, the Buffalo Bills secured one of their essential offensive players by signing right tackle Spencer Brown to a four-year extension, ensuring he remains with the team until 2028.
At a press conference following the announcement on Friday, Brown expressed his enthusiasm about staying in Buffalo.
“Buffalo is where I belong,” Brown said. “The fans are incredible. It makes coming to work every day so much better when you have such dedicated support. Plus, the camaraderie in the locker room is something you don’t see often in the NFL.” He also acknowledged the shift in expectations following his new contract. “Brandon Beane in the front office has shown faith in me, and now I need to prove that I deserve it,” Brown remarked. “I’m ready for that challenge.” Brown has been with the Bills since they drafted him in the third round of the 2021 draft. He started all 17 games at right tackle in 2023, contributing to Buffalo’s offensive line allowing the fewest sacks in the league.
