Stephen Curry’s story and the Golden State Warriors’ joyful finale were always intended to end happily. However, subsequent occurrences have cast doubt on that. Is it possible that the best basketball shooter ever may don a Miami Heat jersey in the future? This summer, Klay Thompson departed the Warriors.
A few years ago, it would have been unimaginable, but after sustaining those two serious injuries, he just does not appear like the same player. With Thompson’s departure, the Warriors lost its legendary three of Curry,
Draymond Green, and Thompson, who together won four championships. Although it was disappointing to see Thompson depart from the Warriors, it was easy to see why it was the right choice for all sides. However, the supporters expect someone who can strengthen the squad as a whole and assist them return to contention to be brought in when a great like him departs. Although a trade package could not be agreed upon, they were said to be interested in Paul George. All of this has now given rise to conjecture over Curry’s future with the team. Marissa Myers suggested a deal in a TWSN piece that would send Curry to the Heat in exchange for Tyler Herro, Nikola Jovic,
a 2025 first-round pick, and a 2027 first-round pick for the Warriors. Naturally, one would assume that the Warriors would do every effort to retain Curry. In addition to earning an Olympic gold medal with Team USA,
he continues to play at an MVP caliber. Curry’s departure would hurt the Warriors both on the court and in terms of their standing internationally. Ideally, Curry will leave the Warriors and retire. a legend from a single franchise, similar to Magic Johnson, Tim Duncan, Larry Bird, Dirk Nowitzki,
