QPR defender Jake Clarke-Salter has returned to action after his latest lay-off.
Clarke-Salter played the first half for Rangers’ development side in a match against Coventry at Hanwell Town on Monday evening.
Rangers won the game 4-2, with Steven Bala scoring a hat-trick and Nathan Jeche also netting.
It was Clarke-Salter’s first outing since a brief appearance in Rangers’ first pre-season friendly this summer.
The former Chelsea man, who was unavailable for much of last season, went off 17 minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute in a game against Slavia Prague.
Midfielder Elijah Dixon-Bonner, who came on during the first team’s home defeat against Ipswich at the weekend, also featured in Monday’s game.
So too did 19-year-old left-back Casey Shann, who was released by Brighton earlier this summer and has been given a trial by the R’s.
QPR: Salamon, Jude-Boyd, (Hawkins 31) Shann, Harrack, Clarke-Salter (Talla 45), Gubbins, Murphy, Aoraha, Bala, Dixon-Bonner (Petrie 70), Pedder (Jeche 60).
