Former Reading winger Junior Hoilett is ‘training’ with Huddersfield Town, according to a national report.
The Canada star spent two years with the Royals and played over 60 times for the club.
Offered a new contract over the summer, the 32-year-old has not been back at Bearwood since last summer and it would appear his future is elsewhere.
A former regular under legendary boss Neil Warnock at Cardiff City, the veteran is with the Terriers after keeping them in the Championship last season.
Darren Witcoop, of the Sunday Mirror, has revealed that Hoilett is training with the Yorkshire club ahead of a potential move.
“First reported Huddersfield’s interest in Junior Hoilett in June. Now finally the Canadian winger is expected to reunite with Neil Warnock,” he said on social media. “Hoilett, who received strong MLS interest since leaving Reading, believed to be training with the Terriers in view of signing a deal.”
He joins Yakou Meite in turning down a fresh contract from the club over the summer after relegation to League One, while Amadou Mbengue committed his future and signed a new deal.
