West Ham is setting its sights on Coventry City’s Callum O’Hare and Hull City’s Jacob Greaves as it aims for an early start to its summer transfer activities. The Hammers are reportedly eyeing a £15 million double deal to bolster their squad ahead of a significant overhaul.
According to Football Insider, West Ham is eager to swiftly secure the signings of O’Hare and Greaves as they plan for the upcoming season. With David Moyes departing as manager and Julen Lopetegui poised to take the reins, the club is already laying the groundwork for changes behind the scenes, with sporting director Tim Steidten spearheading efforts to strengthen the squad.
O’Hare, who is set to become a free agent after the expiration of his Coventry contract, is a primary target for West Ham. The midfielder played a pivotal role in Coventry’s journey to the FA Cup semi-final this season, amassing impressive stats with six goals and three assists in 31 Championship appearances.
Meanwhile, Greaves remains under contract with Hull City, who have placed a £15 million price tag on the defender. Despite narrowly missing out on a top six finish, Greaves played a crucial role in Hull’s seventh-place league position, featuring in 43 matches during the campaign.
With West Ham keen on securing both players swiftly, they are positioning themselves for a successful transition post-Moyes era.
