The Philadelphia Eagles have added seven undrafted free agents to their roster. Among them are offensive tackle Gottlieb Ayedze from Maryland, tight end McCallan Castles from Tennessee, offensive tackle Anim Dankwah, defensive tackle Gabe Hall from Baylor, running back Kendall Hilton from Georgia, safety Andre’ Sam from LSU, and offensive tackle Laekin Vakalahi, who qualifies under an international player exemption. 
Their performances during training camp will determine if they secure a spot on the 53-man roster for the upcoming season.
Of particular interest is defensive tackle Gabe Hall from Baylor, singled out by Nick Baumgardner and Scott Dochterman of The Athletic as an undrafted free agent to watch during the 2024 NFL training camp. Hall, a versatile player with a 6’6″ frame, has garnered attention for his potential to contribute to the Eagles’ defensive line. Despite primarily playing as an interior player in college, his physical attributes suggest he could excel in various roles on the field.
During his time with the Baylor Bears last season, Hall demonstrated promise with 17 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and one pass deflection. Scouts have noted his NFL-caliber spin move and commendable work ethic, attributing his success to his exceptional size and frame. However, criticisms include a lack of explosiveness and speed, as well as stiffness in his lower body and a tendency to maintain a high pad level.
The Eagles’ coaching staff will likely focus on developing Hall’s skills during training camp, along with the other undrafted free agents. Their progress and performance will determine their chances of making the final roster. It remains to be seen which players will emerge as contributors for the upcoming season.
