£110,000-a-week Arsenal player has told another club he wants to join them, looks set to go

One member of the Arsenal squad has expressed interest in joining another club during the upcoming summer transfer window.

At present, the atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium appears to be very positive, with everyone seeming to enjoy themselves under Mikel Arteta’s management amidst another successful season.

Thanks to Arteta and Edu’s excellent recruitment efforts, Arsenal can boast a talented group of young players who are poised to embark on an exciting journey together, with key figures like Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka leading the way.

However, it appears that one player is now leaning towards leaving Arteta’s project at Arsenal. According to reports from Calciomercato, Jorginho is nearing a departure from Arsenal. The Italian news outlet suggests that the Arsenal midfielder, currently wearing the No.20 jersey, has informed Juventus of his desire to join them this summer and return to Italy once his contract in North London expires.

Calciomercato also notes that Arsenal has yet to offer Jorginho a new contract, and it seems unlikely that they will do so.

As a result, all indications point towards Jorginho’s departure from Arsenal this summer. This news may come as a surprise to some, given Jorginho’s significant contributions to Arteta’s team this season.

The Italy international has appeared in 35 matches across all competitions, earning praise from teammates such as Declan Rice, who referred to him as a “world-class” footballer earlier in the season.
