Huddersfield Town in January, has been managing this discomfort, as stated by Jones on the official club website. Jones emphasized the challenge of selecting the right squad with a competitive bench, given the depth of the team. Edmonds-Green’s acquisition aimed to strengthen Charlton’s defense, where he competes for a starting spot with players like Terell Thomas, Macaulay Gillesphey, and Michael Hector.

Before joining Charlton, Edmonds-Green had spent his entire career at Huddersfield, progressing through their academy and making 55 appearances for the first team, scoring three goals. He gained experience through loan spells at various clubs. Upon signing with Charlton, he committed to a two-and-a-half-year deal. Under Jones’s management, Charlton has shown improvement, currently sitting in 15th place with 51 points. With three more matches left in the season against Cambridge United, Shrewsbury Town, and Wycombe Wanderers, Edmonds-Green has opportunities to regain fitness and contribute further to Charlton’s campaign.
