A 24-year-old man has been arrested following the raid.
Police in Ayrshire have arrested a man in connection with drug offences after discovering a ‘cannabis cultivation’ in Kilmarnock.
Officers made the arrest following a raid on the premises, understood to be located next to Shah’s Takeaway, on John Finnie Street in the town on Wednesday, January 31. The 24-year-old was due to appear in court today.
A police spokesperson said: “On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, officers discovered a cannabis cultivation within premises on John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock. A 24-year-old man was arrested for drug offences and is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, February 1, 2024. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
