Koji Miyoshi has quickly risen to the top of Birmingham City’s hierarchy after leaving a lasting impression on interim manager Tony Mowbray.
After coming off the bench in the second half, the Japan international scored the game-winning goal for the Blues against Hull City on Tuesday. Miyoshi is nearly guaranteed to start for Mowbray against Stoke City on Saturday after starting the team’s opening league match against Swansea.
