Fulham and Wolves are battling for a 28-year-old West Ham player – third club attempting to get personal agreements.

Saïd Benrahma, a key player in David Moyes’ West Ham United plans last season, has faced challenges this season, prompting interest from Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers in a prospective transfer.

The report comes from Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna in France, who tells X that the Craven Cottage and Molineux sides are watching the Algeria international.

This comes at a time when Lyon is also interested in the West Ham forward, however the fresh competition from Fulham and Wolves will not be welcomed by the Ligue 1 club.

The French club is attempting to persuade him to select them, and they are thought to want to finalize personal terms with the player before making an offer to the Hammers.

That will allow Fulham and Wolves time to prepare a bid for Benrahma, assuming they are seriously interested in him.
The former OGC Nice player will now have to decide whether to stay in England or return to France.
