Paul Onuachu, a striker for Southampton who is now on loan, said he has never played for a club that treats its players with the same amount of concern as Trabzonspor.
The 29-year-old center forward was moved by Saints to Turkish Super Lig team Trabzonspor on a season-long loan over the summer.
Since joining Trabzonspor, Onuachu has been playing at a high level. In 13 league games, he has eight goals.
The Southampton striker acknowledges that the team has taken care of him better than any of his previous teams, and he is incredibly impressed with how he has been received on the Black Sea coast.
Onuachu also mentioned how much confidence he felt from the welcome Trabzonspor fans gave him when he first arrived in Turkey.
Onuachu stated to Trabzonspor’s official magazine, “When I evaluate how the clubs care about their players, I can clearly say that I have never seen what I experienced at Trabzonspor at any of the clubs I have played for before” (via Sabah).
“Because of the amazing amount of care they show the players—not just me, but everyone else as well.
“The players’ degree of concern for one another on all fronts.
They see to it that you are at ease.
“Whether it’s two or three in the morning, if you call for assistance with a problem, someone will arrive at your door in approximately five minutes.”This is really outstanding. However, Trabzonspor supporters are equally amazing.
For instance, the greeting I received at the airport greatly boosted my confidence.
“In the stadium, they are the same. I sincerely appreciate their support.
Onuachu has pleased Trabzonspor, who hope to sign him permanently. Southampton is anticipated to negotiate with Trabzonspor.
