Reaction: Star player irate On Plymouth Point

Following an interesting 3-3 draw at Home Park with Plymouth Argyle, James Morris talked with watfordfc.com.

The 22-year-old left-back played the entire 90 minutes in the windy and rainy weather, earning his second straight start after Friday’s 1-1 draw with Stoke City.

Edo Kayembe gave the Hornets the lead, but Finn Azaz tied the score with a beautiful finish from outside the box as the team was kept busy in attack and defense.

After Ismaël Koné equalized Morgan Whittaker’s goal, Ryan Hardie gave the home team a one-goal lead going into halftime. However, a goal from Ryan Andrews in the second half shared the points evenly.

It’s a good point, in my opinion. The most important thing is to win as many games as you can at home and avoid losing any away. I believe it would set you up nicely.

It’s obvious that this is a difficult game, and the circumstances just make it worse. Rain continued to fall during the entire game. I thought the players played really well; they dug deep, and it shows amazing character for them to come back from two goals down to win.

I’m sure it’s entertaining to see for the neutral. I believe that’s a feature of the game; rather than having it be so end-to-end, we ought to have made a greater effort to regulate it.

Maybe we would have been a little happier if we could have kept them in their own half. It’s a great position on the route, as I mentioned.

I’m enjoying [being on the side again]. I’ve obviously stopped playing for a few months, as I’ve just played twice in the last three days. Playing games is what it’s all about, and it’s amazing. I’m having a great time.

I believe we are about to take a little vacation; following the hectic Christmas schedule, we have a week off from games. We want to win and go as far as we can in the FA Cup, so we need to heal quickly and get ready for that match.
