Breaking: Auburn Tigers Receive Update Regarding Johni Broome NBA Draft Decision

Andy Burcham, the Voice of Auburn, is approaching a decade of covering Tiger athletics. He has been a part of much of Auburn basketball’s journey under head coach Bruce Pearl and is now ready to reflect on the 2024-25 season in its entirety.

While the season ended on a tough note with the Tigers losing to Florida in the Final Four on Saturday, the disappointment was compounded by watching Florida come from behind to defeat Houston for the national title on Monday night.

Despite the postseason setback, Burcham remains proud of what Auburn accomplished during the regular season:

“This team was exceptional throughout the year. It faced the toughest nonconference schedule Auburn has ever had. There was only one loss, at Duke. They won a conference championship and earned the No. 1 overall seed in March Madness,” Burcham said during his appearance on McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning.

He continued, “It was a unique season. A great run for the program. While it ended on a down note with the loss to Florida, I believe this will ultimately be remembered as the best season in Auburn basketball history.”
