Flagg, a Maine native, ultimately committed to Duke in October 2024. His decision was influenced by the program’s rich history and the opportunity to play under head coach Jon Scheyer. Flagg’s impact was immediate; in his freshman year, he led the Blue Devils in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks, averaging 19.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game.
