Wow, big news coming out of the college basketball world! Cooper Flagg, the highly touted freshman star from Duke, continues to impress with his strong performance this season. Being named a finalist for the prestigious Wooden Award, alongside standout players like Auburn’s Johni Broome, is a huge honor.
Flagg’s 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game certainly stand out, and it’s no surprise he was named the ACC Player of the Year. Broome, with his double-double averages of 18.7 points and 10.9 rebounds, is also making waves, showing that experience (as a fifth-year senior) still holds a lot of value in the modern game.
With teams like Duke and Auburn in the Final Four, there’s a lot of excitement surrounding these players, and the battle for the Wooden Award seems like it’s going to be intense!
