Despite starting All-Pro LB Zack Baun for the entire 2024 season, the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t exactly known for their linebacker ability.

In the past, general manager Howie Roseman has favored building through the “trenches” over prioritizing the position. However, a Super Bowl victory this past season perhaps changed his perception of the position’s worth.Aaron Rodgers: Green Bay Packers quarterback calls MVP voter 'a bum' after being labelled 'a jerk' | NFL News | Sky Sports

Devin White, a former #5 overall choice, is one of the players that many thought could and would have a big influence on the team’s linebacking fortunes, much like Baun did.

White was awarded a one-year, $7.5 million contract earlier that offseason after leaving the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he was cut loose in October without playing a single game for the team.

The Las Vegas Raiders signed the former second team All-Pro to a short-term contract on Friday, indicating that White has now found a new team.
