Big Breaking: Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Chiefs, just revealed a shocking new revelation about joining the Bills.
The NFL Draft picked 47 defensive backs last season, the fewest since the offensively loaded 2018 class. Since the second cornerback position is the only one on the roster without a qualified starter, the Buffalo Bills are in desperate need of assistance. Buffalo is fortunate to have a large selection of talented cornerbacks in this 2025 NFL Draft class. We’ve done our homework, from those alluring first-round picks to further developing possibilities available on day three.
Revel Shavon Jr. of East Carolina
Revel is a fantastic draft candidate with an amazing narrative, if he is still available as the first round draws to a close. Few players in our class are more driven than Revel, who has supported his football goals by working nights at Amazon throughout the epidemic and never giving up on getting on the field.
His 6’2 194-pound size makes him one of the greatest prospects this year, and his 4.40 40-yard sprint highlights his speed. Revel is a unique talent whose performance as a top-tier shooter and infamous kick-blocker highlights his desire to go to any lengths.
His recent ACL tear and the short window of actual production it caused are the only reasons he would fall far enough for the Buffalo Bills to sign him. Shavon Revel Jr. appears to be prepared for training camp and is definitely worth a wager.
He takes chances on the ball and usually succeeds. He is a willing, aggressive run defender who can make excellent last-minute changes.
Porter, Darien, Iowa State
Darien Porter, who is 6’3 and 195 pounds, has every physical attribute Buffalo might want in an outside cornerback in the long run. His 40-yard sprint time of 4.28 seconds is impressive, and his ball skills indicate that he will produce a significant amount of turnovers at the next level.
Excellent read-and-react skills, the physical stamina to consistently tackle in open space, and the obvious knowledge to retain his zone. Darien Porter is a near-perfect match for the Buffalo Bills in 2025, despite being a tad stiff and not very abrupt.
As round two draws to a close, Porter is anticipated to be on the board; Buffalo must act quickly to sign him if he becomes available. There will be a drop-off as the third round progresses, and he will be among the final corners available deserving of a day two draft selection.
