Armando Bacot’s Shock Message To RJ Davis No One Saw It Coming

RJ Davis spent the last five seasons with the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team, becoming one of the better players the school has seen and ending his career as the No. 2 scorer in UNC history. However, Davis’ college career will end without any championship wins as No. 11 seed North Carolina fell 71-64 to No. 6

seed Ole Miss Rebels in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament. And former North Carolina star Armando Bacot had a message for his former teammate. Although he never won a championship, Davis did get to experience playing in the Final Four. In the 2021-22 season, the trio of Davis,

Bacot and current Arizona Wildcats guard Caleb Love guided a No. 8 seed UNC team to the national championship, defeating rival Duke in the semifinals. Bacot departed North Carolina following the 2023-24 season before joining the NBA G League’s Memphis Hustle. Love, on the other hand, elected to transfer to Arizona following the 2022-23 season.
