BREAKING: Ground Breaking Announcement Regarding Duke Cooper Flagg

After an incredible season under Cooper Flagg’s leadership, the Duke Blue Devils enter the NCAA Tournament as the top seed in the East.Duke finished the season with a 31-3 record and a 19-1 record in the ACC, winning the ACC Tournament.

Flagg was in charge of the Blue Devils throughout their historic season, which saw them win the ACC championship and the regular season.Flagg has been named a First-Team All-American by the NABC, Associated Press, Sporting News, and USBWA as the Blue Devils prepare to compete in the NCAA Tournament.

Flagg has been formally named a unanimous First-Team All-American by Duke.

Flagg leads Duke in all five categories with 18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game during his rookie campaign with the Blue Devils. He is regarded by many as one of the best contenders for Player of the Year, having most notably faced Auburn’s Johni Broome.

Duke will play the victor of the American vs. Mount St. Mary’s match in their opening NCAA Tournament matchup. Before the Round of 68, the two will compete for the No. 16 seed.

Despite missing the conclusion of the ACC Tournament because of an ankle strain, Flagg is reportedly expected to play in the NCAA Tournament.
