I really do,” Pope said. “I think these couple of days are really important for us to get as healthy as we can, and we’ll ramp it up as we go through the week.” With the Wildcats nursing a handful of injuries, including to key players like Lamont Butler and Travis Perry,
Pope emphasized the importance of taking advantage of the extra time to recover before the first-round matchup. Butler, who is expected to return after missing the SEC Tournament loss to Alabama, could be a crucial factor as Kentucky looks to bounce back.
