Iowa State defeats Kansas State 73-57 in Manhattan to wrap out the regular season. On Tuesday, March 11, ISU defeated KSU and relegated them to a first-round match. The winner of the Number 12 Seed vs. Number 13 Seed (Game 1) is automatically locked into the Cyclones as the 5 Seed.
Curtis Jones led Iowa State with 24 points, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 5 rebounds at the end of the game. The players on the floor began to chuckle as the fouls were announced,
