The Cardinals are said to be open to trading. In the transaction that sent Tommy Edman and Michael Kopech to the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Cardinals acquired Erick Fedde from the Chicago White Sox. Fedde may soon be traded once more. His tenure with the Cardinals may be in doubt as they want to develop their younger talent at the Major League Baseball level after he pitched to a 3.72 ERA in 55 2/3 innings. If the organization moves Fedde at some point this season, young arms André Pallante and Michael McGreevy could be able to fill in.
