Official: Cincinnati Reds Announce The Signing Of Top Experienced Pitcher In Blockbuster Trade

On Saturday afternoon, the Cincinnati Reds will play two games to kick off their spring training program. As they do each year, they will be in Goodyear to play their facility-mates, the Cleveland Guardians. However, they will also be traveling five minutes later to play the Milwaukee Brewers, division rivals, in some split squad action. Terry Francona has named every pitcher who is expected to start in each of the two games, according to Charlie Goldsmith.

In addition, the manager himself will be traveling. He believed that it would be best to start the spring without talking about “Terry Francona and Cleveland” because Cleveland was the last team he coached. On that day, Freddie Benavides will be in charge of the Reds in Goodyear.

Not every pitcher will complete their allotted amount of innings throughout spring training, especially in the early going. A man may surpass his pitch count before finishing his inning if he gets into difficulties. Throughout the game, there are usually a few pitchers in the bullpen who aren’t “scheduled” to throw but will still be available. You may anticipate some of it occurring.

It will be free to view the game that will be played in Goodyear. Although it will be the Cleveland broadcast, MLB.tv is promoting it as the day’s free game. The Reds announcers will also be broadcasting the game on 700 WLW. Watching and listening to the game versus Milwaukee will not be possible, so keeping up with MLB Other than purchasing a ticket to the game in Arizona, your only choice will be on gameday.

The Cincinnati Reds’ spring training game schedule for radio and television broadcasts is still pending as of Thursday afternoon, when this item was published. We are aware that every game will be broadcast on the radio, with the exception of split-squad games, which will only have one game accessible on certain days. The games will be broadcast on either 1360 WSAI or 700 WLW, however we are unsure which station will cover them. There are now 15 games scheduled for this spring that will be accessible on MLB.tv, and the schedule is updated daily.
