Milwaukee Bucks Now Reached Mutual Agreement In Signing Of NBA All-Star To Squad With $367 Done D

Two Milwaukee Bucks players took part in Saturday night’s NBA All-Star celebrations. Initially, Damian Lillard was trying to win the three-point competition with a three-peat. Then there was the dunk contest, where the soaring Andre Jackson Jr. competed.

The three-point contest’s regulations appear to be becoming more complicated every year, as reporter Riley Feldmann explained in the Milwaukee Bucks 2025 All-Star weekend guide, but here’s a brief recap of how it now operates:

Each player has seventy seconds to go through five racks of five balls, one of which is a unique Starry ball (hmmm!). A Starry ball is worth two points, while a standard ball is for one. Further out are two unique Starry Range balls that, if made, are worth three points. Simply outperform the other guys from there to be one of the three who make it to the final and repeat the process.

The first round began with Brooklyn swingman Cam Johnson, who scored 14 points despite having a fantastic season with the Nets. Next up was Darius Garland of Cleveland; a two-time All-Star who isn’t known for his ability to shoot without hesitation, but he blazed the nets in the first round with a high score of 24, which included six money-balls. Another first-time All-Star, Cade Cunningham of Detroit, finished with a score of 16, describing himself as “very casual out here,” according to Reggie Miller. After Cunningham’s lackluster effort, Clippers guard Norman Powell put on an even worse display, finishing with a final score of 14.

Tyler Herro, a native of Milwaukee and a guard with the Heat, struggled early on and used a lot of legs in his shots until settling into a rhythm late on and scoring 19 points—he also made the first Starry ball of the evening! Woohoo!). After scoring four of his first five baskets, Knicks star Jalen Brunson had a strong start and held on for just enough points to end with a score of 18. After that, Warriors bomber Buddy Hield embarrassed everyone by making 20 of 27 shots and both Starry balls (!), his route to a game-tying 31.
