West Brom Boss Tony Mowbray Considering Of Landing Premier League Chelsea Youngster Following Enzo Maresca Admission

West Bromwich Albion has been considering making an unexpected move to acquire a striker from Chelsea.
Chelsea informed West Brom that transfer target Marc Guiu will instead be loaned to a Premier League team, forcing them to search elsewhere for a new striker.

According to our sister site, Express & Star, Albion was monitoring Guiu’s condition but decided not to make a deal after learning the attacker isn’t available for a Championship transfer. The Spain under-19 international, who was signed for £5 million from Barcelona in the summer, already has a different transfer set up to a team in the English top division.

Hide Ad Guiu, a clinical attacker with a strong work ethic, has excelled anytime Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has given him the chance. Guiu has scored an outstanding six goals in six UEFA Europa Conference League games this season, despite the fact that Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku have been favored for the little minutes he has played.

Maresca is happy with the 19-year-old’s development and has approved his loan: “Marc is getting much better. At his most recent news appearance, Maresca declared, “He is doing fantastic.” He gets more prepared every day. However, when I make a choice based on what I observe, sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not,” he continued.
