Chris Davies reports that Tomoki Iwata, who has missed Birmingham City’s previous three games due to injury, is fit for the trip to Huddersfield Town.
The Blues’ prospects of overcoming their promotion opponents at John Smith’s Stadium would be greatly increased by the Japanese midfielder’s comeback. Only Jay Stansfield and Alfie May have scored more goals this season than Iwata, who has six goals in all competitions.
“Tomoki has now trained for a few days,” Davies stated. “Tomoki wasn’t involved in anything significant, but he has been preparing over the past few days, so he is available.”
