Rosaire Longelo, a left-back, has joined Salford City on an 18-month contract from Swindon Town, a League Two team.
The 25-year-old, who previously played for Accrington Stanley in League One and League Two, went through the academies at West Ham United and Newcastle United.
Following his summer transfer from Stanley, he has made 21 appearances for Swindon Town in all competitions.
“I’ve got good football knowledge, a good football IQ drilled into me when I was younger so I take that into my game, and even today I’m just willing to learn and improve,” he stated.
“The main component of my game is taking people on, dribbling, and putting a few crosses in. I also enjoy shooting, scoring goals, and thrilling people.” I grew up in the park and on the courts, and I still like doing it, which is what has led me to this place.
“I’m hoping that we can carry on the boys’ recent success.” I hope that by adding my skills to it, we can continue to work toward the conclusion of the season.”
Salford signs Longelo, a left-back for Swindon, through 2026.
