“Good for him!” Report: Eagles Legend Gets New Head Coaching Position
It turns out that right before the NFL playoffs begin, one of their former players—and a legend—landed a head coaching position.

DeSean Jackson is expected to take over as head coach of the Delaware State Hornets’ collegiate football team, according to writer Jeff Lightsy Jr. This season, the squad finished a dismal 1-11, with their lone win coming against Sacred Heart.

Lee Hull, who was stripped of his responsibilities earlier this month, is replaced by Jackson. During his two seasons as Morgan State’s coach from 2014 to 2015, Hull’s record was 2-21.

In his heyday, DeSean Jackson was one of the NFL’s most dynamic playmakers. From 2008 until 2022, he was an NFL player, receiving three Pro Bowl selections and was named to the Second Team All-Pro in 2009.
