He was substituted out with five minutes left in the game but was reinserted at the 1:11 mark, when Converge was leading 108-107. The Beermen may need Fajardo’s presence in the final quarter to secure the series.

In Game Three, San Miguel squandered a 27-point lead, ultimately losing to Converge, 114-112, thanks to a last-second shot by Alec Stockton last Wednesday.Meanwhile, Converge is looking to build on their significant Game Three victory, hoping to even the best-of-five quarterfinal series at 2-2 and set up a decisive Game Five on Sunday.

**Comeback Kids**
Game Three marked the third occasion Converge rallied from a significant deficit—trailing by 12 in Game One and 16 in Game Two. However, it was the first time the FiberXers successfully completed a comeback. For Game Four, Converge will need to take charge early and avoid another late rally against a San Miguel team eager to finish the series.

**Stockton’s Key Performance**
Alec Stockton’s game-winning shot highlighted his outstanding performance in Game Three, where he scored a series-high 20 points. He seized the moment after initially being assessed a flagrant foul penalty two, which was later downgraded to a penalty one to prevent ejection. Prior to this, Stockton had averaged just 9.5 points in the first two games of the series, but he certainly made Game Three memorable.
