Two of Florida State’s top pledges from South Florida, four-star running back Byron Louis and defensive back Zae Thomas, are currently touring the campus in Tallahassee. They plan to stay through Saturday to watch the Seminoles’ prime-time game against Clemson.
Neither player has been back to FSU since their official visit in late June, but both have since committed.
Louis is FSU’s latest commitment, having announced his decision on September 21.
Having Thomas on campus for a longer visit is significant, especially since he’s attracted considerable interest from schools like Alabama, Miami, and Clemson.
According to 247Sports.com, Thomas is ranked as the 17th best safety and the 194th overall prospect for the class of 2025, while Louis is ranked as the 17th best running back and the 221st overall prospect.
Several high-profile recruits are confirmed to be visiting Tallahassee this weekend, with the latest being a commitment from Georgia.Todd Robinson, a four-star athlete from Valdosta, Georgia, has informed Noles247.com that he will attend FSU’s home game against Clemson on Saturday. Robinson chose Georgia over schools like FSU and LSU during the summer.
Originally, the Seminoles were scheduled to host the 5-foot-11, 195-pound athlete for an official visit in June, but he committed to the Bulldogs before that visit and subsequently canceled. However, he did visit FSU’s campus earlier that month while his high school teammate participated in one of FSU’s 7-on-7 tournaments.
