BREAKING: Seattle Seahawks Officially Announced Commitment Of Top Prospect..

The Seattle Seahawks have made more changes to their practice squad on Tuesday, adding two players while letting two others go ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions.

They have signed cornerback Tyler Hall and standout defensive lineman Matt Gotel, while placing running back George Holani on practice squad IR due to an ankle injury and releasing Marquise Blair for the second time in just a few days.

Gotel, who previously played for the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL, had a strong preseason with the Seahawks in 2023. He was initially signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022 but didn’t make it through that preseason. He was elevated to the active roster on the last day of the 2023 regular season but didn’t see any game action. After signing a reserve/futures contract, he was placed on injured reserve during training camp but was later waived with an injury settlement, making him a free agent. Now, with his ankle healed, he will add depth to the practice squad, especially as Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy II deal with their own injuries.

Hall, who the Seahawks recently worked out, takes Blair’s spot. Undrafted out of Wyoming, Hall began his career with the Atlanta Falcons and has played 31 games, making six starts as a cornerback. He recorded four passes defensed and a sack during his two seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders and also played four games with the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, earning a Super Bowl ring.
