Arkansas Football Eviscerates SEC Rival Auburn With Play On Hugh Freeze’s Delusion

The Arkansas football team defeated SEC rival Auburn 24-14 on Saturday, showcasing a solid defensive effort. Despite the defeat, Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze claimed that the better team lost.

Freeze went so far as to assert that if the teams played ten times, Auburn would win nine of them. “I mean no offense to Arkansas,” he said after the game. “I respect Sam Pittman and hope he wins the rest of his games. But the hard truth is, if we played them nine more times, we’d beat them every time.”

This statement quickly garnered attention.

He pointed out that his team outgained Arkansas 431-334 but emphasized that five turnovers severely hindered their offense’s effectiveness. While this may be accurate, it has become a concerning pattern for Auburn.

In their loss to Cal, quarterback Payton Thorne threw four interceptions and the team also lost a fumble. In their two victories, they accumulated four turnovers. There’s no reason to believe these issues would suddenly resolve.

Auburn currently ranks last in the NCAA for turnovers lost and is 131st out of 132 in turnover margin, struggling to protect the football.

Arkansas made sure to highlight this fact while playfully mocking their SEC opponent.

“That’s an interception every time,” the caption stated. Murder reported!

Hugh Freeze is further alienating Auburn fans with an 8-9 record since taking over. He has repeatedly blamed his players, raising doubts about his leadership skills.

If he fails to resolve the offensive problems in the coming weeks, his job security may be at risk.

Unfortunately, the upcoming schedule doesn’t offer much relief, as the Tigers will face three ranked teams: Oklahoma, Georgia, and Missouri, over the next month.
