San Miguel is preparing for a change as they enter the second half of the 2024 PBA Governors’ Cup group stages. The Beermen have signed former Washington Wizard Sheldon Mac to take over from Jordan Adams.
This move has been confirmed by several sources who are closely following the situation, as reported by Tiebreaker Times.
Mac will have his official height measurement on Tuesday, but San Miguel officials are confident he will meet the required limit. The 31-year-old from Houston, Texas, is listed at 6-foot-5.
Currently, the Beermen are tied for second place in Group B with a 3-2 record, holding third place on their own.
In his final game with San Miguel, Adams tallied 41 points, pulled down six rebounds, and delivered five assists in their close 113-112 win against Rain or Shine last Thursday.
The addition of Mac brings a seasoned scorer to the Beermen. Following a three-year stint with the Wizards, Mac has played in France, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela, and China. His most recent team was the Osos de Manatí in Puerto Rico.
